After two seasons of racing in the powder puff division, Ashlyn’s dad soon let her take his spot in the VW heads up Super Stock class. She immediately showed a strong performance against the tough class of drivers that 2017 season, breaking the class record with a 3rd place finish in championship standings.
In the following season, she took the number 1 qualifying position at every event, beat her previous record, and accumulated enough points to claim the 2018 championship title as the first female to do it.
In her 3rd season of VW heads up drag racing, she managed a clean sweep of the season, claiming the number 1 qualifying position at every event, winning
every event, again breaking the class record, and claiming their second championship title, making Ashlyn the first female back to back champion.
